In the final quarter of last year, NB-IoT-based, AI-supported leak detection solutions deployed at two Hungarian waterworks prevented the loss of more than 350,000 m³ of drinking water – not through estimates, but through real faults identified in time. The early recognition of acoustic patterns and rapid intervention delivered tangible results: up to a 4–5% reduction in non-revenue water (NRW), more stable operation and significantly reduced network losses.
Our video shows what all of this means in practice and why reducing water losses is a key question today. Alongside ageing infrastructure and rising costs, smart, data-driven solutions are no longer the future but the present – where water loss is not a statistic but a preventable event.
